From Spaetzle tour …
Where the onion roast beckons –
Enjoyable cycling in the Donaubergland region
How about a day trip by bike on the sausage salad tour, the Maultaschen tour or the roast beef tour? Or is the spaetzle tour enough today? Or would you prefer to work up an appetite on the Tolle-Knolle tour?
The Donaubergland region offers new cycle tours for very special experiences. The e-bike pleasure tours through the extraordinary landscapes of the southwestern Swabian Alb are combined in an original way with the enjoyment of delicious regional specialties.
Appetite for more?
Relaxed cycling and refreshments. The tours whet your appetite for a stop-off in our local restaurants along the routes.
Culinary experiences along the routes
As always, the new cycle tours are organized in close cooperation with the local restaurants in the Donaubergland region. The tours are laid out in such a way that there are several places to stop for refreshments on each tour. Here you and your bike can recharge your batteries, depending on how many reserves you have used up on the ride to the heights of the Donaubergland.
From the spaetzle tour and the more extensive cheese spaetzle tour on the Heuberg, to the Knöpfle tour in the Baden part of the Donaubergland, from the flat soup tour to the classic roast beef tour, you can think about what you would like to treat yourself to on the way or at the end of the tour.
Our new cycle tours in the Donaubergland
From the Spätzle Tour and the Tolle-Knolle Tour to the Rostbraten Tour.
Our new tours at a glance
To date, the Donaubergland region has the Danube Cycle Path already 16 Donaubikeland routes. Now eight more attractive cycle routes are being added – a whole network of tourist cycle routes.
The new eight routes are signposted and marked in accordance with the standardized national guidelines for cycle paths. Special route logos – with numbers – show you the way on your tour to the most beautiful sights and places to stop for refreshments, especially on the heights of the Donaubergland.
The new eight routes are also integrated into the district cycle path network. This means that many tours can be combined. Try it out for yourself.
The official opening of the tours will take place at the start of the new cycling season in spring 2023.
The dates will be published in good time
