Welcome to the Donaubergland
Have you ever thought about it? And already tried it?
By train to the Donaubergland.
Here you will find tips and links for a (hopefully) relaxed journey to the Donaubergland.
We also have tips for your mobile activities in the Donaubergland.
Environmentally friendly travel by train and bus
With the Deutschland-Ticket?
The Donaubergland is easily accessible by train.
The main station in Tuttlingen and the station in Immendingen are hubs for various supra-regional railroad lines in Baden-Württemberg.
In the Donaubergland region, the new regional transport association Move (as far as the Black Forest) and the buses and trains of the Move (Tuttlingen district) and naldo (Sigmaringen district) local transport associations operate in the southwest of the Swabian Alb and into the Danube valley.
Railroad stops in the Donaubergland are:
from west to east: Geisingen, Immendingen, Tuttlingen, Mühlheim Fridingen, Beuron (Donautal-Bahn)
from north to south: Spaichingen, Tuttlingen (“Gäu-Bahn”)
Some other towns are connected to the network by the Hohenzollerische Landesbahn (Move).
New: on-demand bus services in the Tuttlingen district
From May 1, 2024, there will be a completely new on-demand bus system in the district of Tuttlingen. The Buf comes virtually on demand!
“Hey! Move” is the name of the new regional public transport service MOVE. The offer is valid in the evening from 9 p.m. to midnight and also during the day at weekends and on public holidays.
You can call your bus at a number of stops using the app, via the website or (for a fee) by telephone.
