Regional beer is still brewed in the Donaubergland
Brewing beer is a craft! There are still a handful of breweries and smaller breweries in the Donaubergland region that produce and serve their own beer.
The Hirsch brewery in Wurmlingen near Tuttlingen, a very successful medium-sized family-run traditional brewery, is at the forefront here, brewing numerous regional beers. In addition to the classic brewery tour, you can also brew your own beer with a group.
In addition, the small Farrenbrauerei brewery in Immendingen recently opened a new brewery. There are also two breweries in Tuttlingen and Trossingen, where craft beer is brewed in smaller quantities and served on site.
