A quality trail from the Donaubergland through the Danube valley to the Zollernalb
The Donau-Zollernalb-Weg, which connects directly to the starting point of the Donauberglandweg in Beuron in the Donaubergland and to the “Lemberg” in the Donaubergland, the highest point of the Swabian Alb, has also been certified as a quality trail by the German Hiking Association and has been awarded the “Wanderbares Deutschland“ seal of quality for its trail quality.
The Danube-Zollernalb Trail runs over 10 day stages from Beuron through the Upper Danube Valley to Sigmaringen, then through the Lauchert Valley to Gammertingen and from there over the Zollernalb. to Lemberg.
The Danube-Zollernalb Trail
In Beuron in the Danube valley, the Donau-Zollernalb-Weg connects directly to the Donauberglandweg at the monastery parking lot. In total, the Donau-Zollernalb-Weg can be hiked in ten daily stages from Beuron via Sigmaringen and Gammertingen to the Zollernalb. It ends at “Lemberg” near Gosheim, the starting point of the Donauberglandweg. The three daily stages in the Danube valley are in the Donaubergland.
The Donauberglandweg and Donau-Zollernalb-Weg together with their 14 daily stages make up the longest certified circular hiking trail in the southwest of Baden-Württemberg.

Another award for the Donau-Zollernalb-Weg as a quality hiking trail
The German Hiking Association once again awarded the Donau-Zollernalb-Weg the seal of approval “Quality Trail Wanderbares Deutschland” for a further three years.
The award ceremony had to be digital this year. That’s why the German Hiking Association congratulated us with its own video and presented the Donau-Zollernalb-Weg in a special way.
The “quality trails”, such as the Donauberglandwegare regularly inspected and certified by experts from the German Hiking Association according to strict quality criteria. This guarantees that these trails maintain their high quality.
